How to style a picture ledge

I’m loving all the picture ledge inspo that has been pooping up around the web, so I thought it might be time to pull out the ones I bought at IKEA ages ago and actually put them up. Mostly “shopping” my home, I was able to style up this little spot.

Here are 5 tips to create a lovely picture ledge vignette:

1. Vary the height of objects. Uniformity is not your friend, in this situation.

2. Arrange objects in odd numbers.

3. Create interest with a variety of textures.

4. Pull colors from the room so your ledge coordinates with the space.

5. Choose objects that mesh with the style of your space. in my case, the style is quite eclectic so various styles are a go.
